Care that goes further

To further enhance the care we provide, RightAssist™ is automatically offered as part of our:

Helpful FAQ About RightAssist™

RightAssist™ is the name of our 24/7, tech-enhanced activity monitoring service. The service measures activity levels, sleep patterns and falls through a sleek, waterproof bracelet with a 365-day battery life. The bracelet is coupled with two Wi-Fi-based wall plugs for motion sensing (called “gateways”) and a family app.

You can pair this service with our traditional in-home, caregiver-based care offerings to ensure peace of mind when you’re not there. Or in between visits from our caregiver.

We will visit the home to configure the Wi-Fi parameters needed for each gateway in just 15 minutes. Please have the Wi-Fi network name and password readily available.

To protect the wearer’s privacy, only the location within the home is captured and displayed. The wristband will continue to track their activity level outside the home but not their geographic location.

Please email us on [email protected] or call your local office.

Besides the fact that this bracelet is not a watch, the biggest difference between the Apple Watch and the RightAssist monitoring bracelet is the battery life. The bracelet has a 365-day battery life, ensuring it never has to be taken off, even in the shower or bathtub. People tend to take off their Apple Watch and charge it nightly, which results in the inability to detect nighttime falls.

No, this is not a medical alert device. It is a lifestyle wellness device designed to give older adults independence and their family members peace of mind.

It will detect a fall, and there is an alert button, but it is not meant to be a lifesaving, emergency alert device. All emergency alerts will go to you or someone you designate, not emergency medical personnel. Many older adults prefer this because they do not want their neighbors to see an ambulance arriving at their house.
